22 years old, Mklane is an illustrator, graphic designer and art director hailing from the beautifully romantic city of Rome, Italy.
He works with many magazines, like Clone, Cover, Destructed, Rap/Up, Sportswear International, Stirato, The Royal, Urban, with graphic studios, like Mekkanografici Associati for Edizioni e/o and Editori Laterza, and with the fashion industry, like Divina Palabras, Dverso and Subdued.
In this year, Mklane has contributed in many projects: personalization of a Bunny Qee for Toy2r, Celebrity Logos book by Index Book, Hype Gallery in Berlin, L´Oreal Paris in "Send Your Style", Latex For Fun, Sketchel by Jeremyville, feature Pepe Jeans London in "Fresh Air Section", Zeixs Book.
Lately, beyond to other numerous projects, Mklane realizes the illustrations for the t-shirt of "D-VERSO" ( winner with the D-verso logotype at Eulda´06 ), a clothing brand that born with the undertaking of an Italian music band, Ladri di Carrozzelle, almost completely made up of people affected by muscular dystrophy. The main idea was to create a logo suggesting a concept of diversity. A diversity lying inside each of us, which in a standardized world means to express ourselves. It?s not easy to define a specific target, because the concept of D-VERSO deals with each age bracket and with each sexual orientation: heteros, gays, lesbians, transgenders. The logogram is an upside down question mark. Why? Because it wants to break the moulds, because when we meet a "different" person we always put the wrong quest.
Mklane is a member of The GRA (Genuine Roman Art), and a new member of The KDU (The Keystone Design Union)
