vitaThe artist Amely-Sharon Maacken aka "Amy" is living in Hamburg and her talent of illustrating became her occupation. Her slogan "I donīt want to fit into a drawer but into innumerable..." is shown also in her work as an illustrator.
Her style is versatile and among other things inspired from Pop Art, Comic, Retro, movies and many further influences from the world of the art and advertisement.
Amely loves to discover possibilities of the modern illustration by connecting the well known with the new things whether at the computer or also free hand.
In the year 2003 she became a freelancer and established the website and company name "nice illus". Beforehand she studied graphic design and multimedia and is now getting ahead in advertising and new economy. Some of her customers are publishing houses, agencies and medium-size companies as well as companies from the TV, home and event.
