name: Butusova, Irina

Illustrator and designer Irina Butusova has been creating works of art for as long as she can remember.
She was born in Ukraine. At 20 she started to study graphic design and illustration at School of Art in Odessa. Next Irina moved to Israel where she studied at the "Tel-Aviv College" (Tel-Aviv) where she concluded her training as a Master of 3D, Multimedia and illustration.

She spent the majority of those years working in the advertising industry. She worked in collaboration with such companies as Fogel-Ogilivy Interactive, ICQ, D-say (BBDO), as well as many others.

In the past 5 years, Irina has shifted her artistic efforts toward character design and illustration. She is probably best known for her work on the popular "Mentos" ad interactive campaign, which ran 2004.
In 2005 Irina was invited by Tel-Aviv advertising agency ?People Interactive" to design the Coca-Cola music internet site. The site was featured by Coca-Cola Corporation and became very popular interactive space. More recently, she has done work for ICQ and created illustrated characters for a Lee Copper game.

Her current plans include having design of lighting stand lamp, solo exhibitions (coming soon exhibited in Berlin) and to publish a book of her work.
